Clinical Example: Flag flap from index finger to thumb
This two stage flag flap was to cover
a distal dorsal thumb defect. The flap is based on branches of the first
dorsal metacarpal artery, included in the subcutaneous tissues of the pedicle.
The pedicle can be made narrow enough to close the pedicle donor site directly,
as was done here. |
